planning & booking

Booking should be done 2-3 weeks before the Photoshoot. This will give us time to discuss the styling, outfits, location etc.
To book your Fine Art or Lifestyle Portrait Session, contact me: Liza@otislane.co.nz or call 021 1065 728 ideally at least two weeks in advance.
Lock in your booking with a deposit of 50% of the session fee. The rest of the session fee is due at the close of day of the Photoshoot.
Styling and outfit planning happens during your Pre-photoshoot consultation, making sure your clothing choices reflect a beautiful, cohesive colour palette with access to beautiful dresses from my client wardrobe if desired.
This consult can be done over the phone, in person, or by Zoom.
Feeling confident is key for your photoshoot, so I recommend taking time with your presentation. Professional makeup can be arranged at an additional charge, and I often help style hair to suit specific poses.
I totally understand that life happens, & can be unpredictable, and sometimes things don’t go to plan. I’m more than happy to take extra time during your session or reschedule if needed; whatever helps you feel relaxed and happy moving forward.
You are very welcome to bring your family pets and extended family. I am equipped to cope with both dogs and cats, and I kindly ask that one handler per pet is available at all times to help keep each animal under control.
This is the first time we get to meet one another, either on the phone, in person or by Zoom. I like to get to know you, your vision and what matters most to you. It’s our opportunity to plan the photoshoot so that it is tailored to reflect you, ensuring your portraits feel uniquely yours.

Stunning dresses client wardrobe Palmerston North

I have a home studio on our lifestyle property just outside Palmerston North, and I’m fully equipped to make your session as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

If you have an outdoor photoshoot in mind, we’ll chat about the best location, the perfect time of day (golden hour magic), what to wear, who’ll be in the photos, and pick a day when the weather’s looking good. It’s all relaxed and tailored around you, so you feel totally prepared and excited for your session.
Absolutely! If you have enough space for lighting and backdrops, I'm happy to bring the studio to you. Just a heads-up—there’s additional charge for petrol if travelling is more than 25 km outside Palmerston North.
I understand that things don’t always go to plan, and little ones can be unpredictable. I’m happy to re-schedule, or we can take a few breaks to make sure everyone is feeling comfortable and relaxed.
The Reveal Session is a special appointment where I invite you back to the studio to experience your finished portraits for the first time.
This is a beautifully curated moment to select your favourite images, choose the portrait included in your package, and place your order for any additional artwork or products you’d love to display in your home.
I kindly ask that all decision-makers attend this appointment. If someone is unable to be present, I’m happy to arrange a new time that works for everyone.

after the photoshoot

This usually happens 2-3 weeks after your photoshoot.
Yes, absolutely! At the Reveal Session you decide what you would like to order.
I offer premium quality matted gicleé prints, frames and canvases. If you would like a price list of all the options I offer, please do contact me.
Depending on what you have ordered, it can take between 3 - 6 weeks to get your final products after the Reveal appointment. They can be conveniently delivered to your door for an additional fee, or collected in person at your convenience.
Digital files are not included in the session fee unless specifically noted on the pricing page for a particular package. However, a complimentary matching digital file is provided with every print, framed portrait, or canvas you order.
If you prefer digital files only, they are available for purchase individually or as part of a discounted collection in addition to the session fee.
There’s no minimum order, and I want you to choose only what you truly love.
Flexible payment plans are available for Otis Lane portrait collections, with all products delivered once the final payment has been completed
I love to use beautiful examples of your stunning portraits on my website, but I only ever do this with your permission. If you do not wish your portraits to be used this way, then I will respect your decision.
